A Gentle Rain

You are a gentle rain
On unseen gardens.
Each droplet trickles
To feed a deep rooted need.
A thirst assuaged
And buried
In acres of untold depth.
My seeds already sown in time,
I have no assurance
Of tomorrows bounty.
But as the colours
Of my time turn to gold,
I burst open to grasp
At the learning
In these sweet, laden days.
I drink from pure truth
And feel joy rise from inside
As the beauty of creation
Eternally rains down.
